Vernon County 72-Hour Release Window
The Vernon County Sheriff publishes no rolling three-day list. The official jail page provides facility and contact information, not named inmate or release entries. The sheriff’s navigation and XML sitemap contain no verified roster, booking ledger, daily release report, or 72-hour destination. There is therefore no official feed URL, filter, field list, update schedule, photo policy, or online retention period.
A three-day inquiry is still possible as a records question. Define the range with calendar dates and times, then ask whether an existing release log or maintained custody record covers it. The wider range is most useful when the exact day is uncertain. It should not be described as a live public feed, and the sheriff should not be asked to create a new report or calculate results that the office does not maintain.

A request can also seek the booking photograph for a named episode. The photo is related to the arrest record but is not the same legal object. Vernon County Weekend Release Records
No official Vernon County source publishes weekend or holiday release practices, routine processing duration, an exit location, or family waiting rules. A three-day range should not be used to invent such a schedule. Court action, identity checks, property accounting, and unresolved holds can separate an order time from the actual physical exit. Vernon County Contract Release Chains
Vernon County Jail holds detainees for more than one authority. Kansas City authorized a contract with Vernon County and its sheriff for detention and transportation of city inmates and detainees. That arrangement creates a key three-day verification issue: departure from Vernon may be return transport to Kansas City or another movement, not release to the community.
Ask Vernon for the exact end of its local custody and the destination recorded for the movement. Then ask the sending authority for its own movement or release record. The Kansas City contract action expressly covers transportation as well as detention services, so both ends of the chain matter.

The request may seek admission and release times, recorded release type, releasing authority, destination custodian, booking number, charges tied to the custody episode, and any open bond or court authority maintained in the release record. RSMo §610.026 governs charges. Paper copies covered by its size rule may cost up to ten cents per page. Route Vernon County Release Records
The correct source depends on who held the person. Vernon County Jail is the first source for a local booking and local exit. Missouri DOC is the right source for a state-prison commitment, later parole or conditional release, or a completed state sentence. The active MODOC offender search can show people who remain incarcerated or under active supervision, but it excludes discharged offenders. A missing interactive result therefore does not erase a completed sentence.
For a completed state sentence, request the relevant MODOC record or use the department’s documented completed-sentence data route. That source can include former supervision data, while the live offender interface intentionally serves a narrower active population. Neither source substitutes for the sheriff’s time-stamped account of when the local Vernon custody episode ended.
